  • Holy cow it's been along time since I posted the wagon in which I still own and drive. Well today I picked up some brand coilover sleeve kit. Going to throw those on tomorrow with the brand new KYB AGX struts. I'll post some pics of before and after. Also installing a MOMO racing steering wheel and hub. But other than that I got new tires about a little over a month ago fir the wheels and hub caps that she came with at the beginning.
  • no substitute for an
    easy sunday moaning ey...

  • well today was a a glorious day. Got the coilovers installed. The steering wheel put on as well bust day for the wagon. All worth the labor because she is slammed and looking good. One problem came up after in stall. Some scraping on the front flaps when pullin Into drive ways. Also found out my drivers front LCA is bent so my front wheel rubs a little during sharp turns since my wheel is slightly closer to my firewall. But no big deal. Just got to get some wheels.

Nice ride. I'm not a big fan of red but it looks good on your wagon.

are your hubs from a honda fit... lol.. not a big fan of the wheel, should have left it stock..
  • Yeah red is what I had to deal with. Free shocks so can't complain.lol. Yeah the wheels are the same ones I got from day one of owning this car. Working on getting some diamond wheels. Since I'm a painter for a body shop painting the wheels some crazy color shouldn't be an issue. If anyone has any pointers or suggestions on size and offset for wheels shoot st me . I just want them to fit with no flaring maybe Roll. As long as there tucked and rubber strecthed.
  • So today we got a little slow at the shop. And saw we had a 2009 jeep liberty that got rear ended pretty good. It took part of the exhaust and bent it pretty good but the muffler lived on. So I had an idea to modify my exhaust again. Seeing as how the first one I did wasn't up to my standards anymore. There's a few photos of before. This exhaust system came from parts of a Dodge Journey which also suffered a rear collision. I cut my n-pipe from stock res and used the Journey piping and res to complete the rest. And topped it off with a muffler tip from one of two good mufflers left off the Journey. Thus the product you see below. That was done about three months ago because some idiots(drunk) decided car was to cool to have the stock exhaust connected anymore. So the broke it from the rear axle section. But today I used the Jeep Liberty exhaust to make a free J-Racing wanna be exhaust check it out. Basically just practicing my welding for when I throw on the burns stainless on for the final master piece.lol

    lol, saves on piping though!
  • Yes I know it should have been placed in the stick location but I didn't have any free piping left to route it out that way and still keep it mandrel bent. Lol

You could have just went over the driver side rear lca and straight out the back.
  • Well after I get the motor all done and setup I'm going to run a burns stainless setup with a nice stock flavor but with sound and performance in mind.
  • Did my taxes today and going to get a pretty decent return. So I thought i would update my thread and let everyone know that I may have a the sohc vtec with nice new clutch in before the end of the month. Which would be awesome because the a6 is cranking out almost 233k. She runs like a top bit the cable guide seals are starting to go. She smokes every once in awhile it's a bit embarassing.

not a bad price, especially if it came with clips to fit the wagon.
