so i guess i eliminated the air and spank systems out cause i have researched them so much and everything seems to be right.
so i moved on to the fuel system, i fricking checked over the wiring to the injectors and everything. idk, still no change (as in im stil getting all the same symtoms, code #4 and not revving past 3200).
EXCEPT now im getting a NEW code, #16= Fuel Injectors. haha its like God was telling me something. anyways. i checked into it a little and possible reasons for this are Resisitor box, bad injectors, Main Relay (which is NOT the problem fo sho).
-does this mean my resistor box could be messed up? or WIRING to the box?
-what if my injectors were bad would the car run at all? im pretty sure thats not the problem. i got them off a healthy engine from a friend.
one last thing to leave you guys off to THINK a little, i pulled the spark plugs out from each cylinder and smelled inside to see if anything was weird. #4 and #2 cylinders smelled of raw gasoline, #1 and #3 smelled normal-ish, that is, didnt really smell at all.
when i rev the car up to 3000 it sounds like its misfiring, could it be the injector timing? and if it is..why? whats causing it? i checked the wiring over and over... damn it, idk.

"You just messed up on the dizzy wiring. Simple as that. Re-try =)There's a diagram on our website under Troubleshooting on the right hand side of the homepage. When it says Code 4 - a distributor code, you don't need to screw with every other sensor on the engine - honda made engine codes to point you in the right direction of the problem."
but Peter, i already redid everything a hundred times!!! WAHHHH
they must have been good before, cause the car was running perfectly before i started this gay swap. idk, every single connection is now soldered, including at the ECU, injectors, connectors, plugs, dizzy....

damnit could it be i have THIRD defective dizzy? is that possible???
The crank angle sensor is inside the dizzy, so yes it's possible.
I suggest you find a car that is running with the same dizzy, pull it off and test it out. Then you'll be 100% sure if it's the wiring/connectors or the dizzy.
I'd also suggest doing the same with the ECU.
i bought a fourth dizzy today from a different supplier today. its coming in tomorrow. so tomorrow i will know whether its the dizzy or not. if not im thinking imma just buy a DX harness and put everything back to stock it would be a shame and a huge waste of time and money if this is the case, but i need my car.
so im sitting at home pissed off and mad, then i something pops in my head that never did before and i go back and check the ecu wiring and sure enough, i got B9 and B10 mixed up. B9 was empty and i though that was B10. so i swapped those around and BAM she lives!!
to think all this heartache, time, MONEY over a stupid little wire. i feel dumb now, but man.. cars intake sounds amazing. i love this so much.

well tomorrow im off to Home Depot. every wire i had nicely wrapped up and packed away in wirelooms is now out and exposed all over again. frick.

as far as the ECU goes.. i have two MPFI ECUs and they are both throwing the same codes.
