Locking out SL

Has anyone locked out the gear shifter from going into SL ?
I think it's fairly easy to do, but it's nice to hear from others if they've already done it.

I vaguely recall seeing this on a search I did in the past but I've tried to find it again and failed :?

i was gunna do it on the 4wd CRX so i dont accidently hit it or the dead spot behind SL while bangin gears autocrossing. i was gunna just build a stop bracket on the tranny that just wont let it go far enough over to reach SL.

Yeah. Basically just that was what I was thinking on the shifter box itself. Couple of minutes welding really.
I thought about a system which you could use to lock it in and out say with a solenoid and electrics, assuming there is a need to get that complicated.

I wonder how often people really use SL :?

I have never accidentally put it in SL.... I have to use a lot of force to get it there.... that's the OEM factory solution I think.... You don't have that?

I think it's pretty worn out.
In the silver one it was hard to get from 3rd to 2nd and mi-shift.
In the red one it's really easy.

Trip to Honda for new bits I fear.
