wiring help needed

Ok so here is my dilema. I tried to do MPFI on my wagon using obd1 injectors. I wired the injectors w/o a resister box and followed directions as normal. I could not get the injectors to open so I tried to direct connect them but still the car wont start. Now when I put it back to the way it was my ecu will not light up and my main relay will not turn on. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have good grounds and no fuses are blown. Couple pics of the bay to keep me wanting to work on it. And to motivate responces. Camera phones suck BTW.

  • Just thought of something!!

Is your ECU obd1? What about you dizzy? That could make a difference right there..
  • WOW! that engine bay is soooooo clean. that clean ass e :D ngine bay should be motivation enough to keep going on the project.

Thanks on the comments guys. I have tried using obd1 dizzy/ecu and obd0 dizzy/ecu. Neither of which turn on the main relay. Tried the stock ecu and it does not turn them on either. I am so confused about this project. But one good things is I have $450 invested into it; thats including the price of the car.

Have you tested the relay at all?

Relay is good, tried it in my friend's car and his car started right up. I'm a loss for words on how much this frustrates me. I got a quote of $150 to look at plus $80 an hr. after that. I am not that rich. I am about to the point of ripping out the dash and harness and grabbing one from a junk yard. Thinking of putting in a CR-X dash anyways since by friend has one. Already going to put Si seats in front. Any one in Florida a wiring genius?

why dont you have Rywire do it?

I feel that the problem is not with the engine harness but one under the dash. I was able to contact a local guy and hopefully he can figure it out. Dont know what I did wrong. Done MPFI countless times including B-series vtec swaps without any problems. Always happens on my cars. :x

Well got it fixed. It wasnt my wiring at all but three things. 1. A stupid fuse that I thought I fixed. 2. Valves needed to be adjusted. 3. dizzy was 180° out. Dont know how that one happened. But car runs. Now need to get her cleaned and take some pics. Post them soon.

It's almost impossible to not notice a dizzy being 180 deg out. It won't seal properly and it will wiggle when you crank it over (learned this by experience).

Thought the same thing. When the guy cam over to look at my car he asked if I forced it on. Told him no and when he took it out he said he had never seen one that was 180° out and actually fit right. But now I know. What really sucks is while driving around last night I came to realize that the motor I just painted and put in has a rod knock. I can never win.
