91 RT4WD Rear Control Arm Mount?

i am looking at a wagon on craigslist that has a suspension issue. basically, the part that connects the rear suspension to the struts is rusted out and is strengthened(?) by a steel plate bolted to it. i dont have pictures and barely know what im talking about so im looking for help. what might i be talking about and how much might it be to replace? i could probably point out what im talking about in a picture but i had not found an adequate one.

my friend said i should walk away which we did, and maybe i should continue to do that, but i just cant turn away so easily. so feel free to give me a reality check. thanks.

Move along. We go to great lengths to keep these wagons rolling, but rust that extensive is cancer. Unless you can snag it dirt cheap and use the parts on a better shell, this ain't the one.

alright. thanks for posting. these dont pop up too often around here and i was hoping it was a relatively cheap fix.

Your descript is too vague.Are you telling about where the inner LCA attaches to the frame?

if anyone has a pic from the rear of the driver side rear suspension i could point it out.

it looks like it was number 4, or the big thing on the lower left side.

You can find those.

If that is rusty, though...I'd be leery of parts of the chassis that it is connected to.

yeah. its probably more trouble than i want to get into. poor wagon.
