Installing ignition tumbler/cylinder help

Hey guys, I hate asking for help, especially for something like this but I have done over 4 hours of research and cant find this out for a awd civic wagon. So I got the old ignition cylinder out with 0 problems in the number one position but for the life of me I cant figure out how to put it back in. It only goes about 3/4 of the way in and will not go any further. It feels like its hitting something inside the ignition body but I cant figure out what, please help... anyone.

    I really appreciate you doing that but I have the same pic and have tried with no luck :(

    figured it out... kind of.. put it in the 0 position and made sure the part instide the ignition was in 0 and hit it in with a hammer, not the best or smartest idea but now it works and only one keys turns my ignition over instead of any key, lol thanks for the help though guys
