New to the forum-Oregon wagon

Hey everyone..Joe here. I came into a 86 white w/blue interior 2wd wagon after my EK hatch went down the tube...and I love it 2+yrs later. Its stock (rebuilt motor) and plain as can be.

Any other 3rd gen wagon owners solve the no cup holder problem? I have been looking around but havent seen anything that looked great.

Also, my interior button to release the hatch hasnt worked since I got it, any pointers?

Back to looking around.

Cheers!

Another 3rd g here, and no solver to the cup holder solution lol but I have been relegated to using drinks with caps and putting them between the seat and door. Either that or I spill my morning coffee on my pass seat for the 12424886352th time.

Also my hatch only opens by tapping the button a few times, but eventually pops. Also wont close unless I open it this way...haven't had time to follow lines yet.

From the Gresham area. No pictures currently. Just stock, white with wheels from a crx. It might end up with jspeed IIs if I get tires for them..and figure a color. Looks like I will have to go the universal cup holder direction. I'll have try pushing the hatch button a couple times, but I think it might be more to it.

Not exactly sure...probably stock and get some fog lights to help visibility. I may add some little stuff later on. Ive been down the honda road for 10+ years...unsure how deep i want to get back in.

I like stock myself. IMHO wagons are good as they are, especially if the mileage is still good... though I'd be interested to know of any mods that actually improve mileage.
  • Welcome! lets see some pic's of that ride!

I'll take a couple quick ones with my crap phone today when I head out. Dont want to lug out the DSLR today.
  • On your hatch button issue. check to make sure it is plugged in. If its plugged in then pull your panel off in the back and be sure that everything is plugged in where the latch is. i had this same problem when i bought mine and it wasn't plugged in to the latch haha.

As for the cup holder thing, I'll try to take a photo of mine and tomorrow and show you what Steve did to this one before I bought it. In short he took a generic cup holder thing you can buy from like autozone or walmart and cut the middle of it so it fits right over the shifter.
  • I've since dug into the hatch deal. The button is plugged in and as far as I could see everything was plugged in on the hatch.

I just took 2 universal upholders and screwed them into the hump in front of the shifter. No spills yet!

Thanks. When my dad originally got the car he took those off his old crx before he sold it because he liked them more than steelies and they had better tires.
