Since when? I was told you have to drop the tank on efs to get to the fuel pump.

Very lovely indeed! That's the best news I've heard all day.

Cashkid, what is yours doing? A common failure area is the main relay, which controls the fuel pump. I'd be sure it's not this before looking to the fuel pump.

Yeah definitely a good idea to check that out. Main fuel relay will often not 'click and prime' the pump when you turn the key.

i didnt think to ask but can u get to the pump from the top on the 2wd's as well?
  • yeah, i have a 2wd, and i can see the access panel. but, yeah, i forgot about the relay, where is it located exactly? thanks
  • search honda-tech for that one, dude. There are tons of great threads about it, some with pictures and everything. You should learn about doing the resolder trick so you don't have to buy any parts.
  • It's located up on the left side of the driver's side area near the door/dashboard.

I resolder mine in every new (old) honda I get, from past experience. Never had a problem afterwards...
