  • A friend of mine got a cam for his mpfi'd DX from Web Cams. He eventually put a B16 in. I bought his old engine for the tranny and mpfi stuff. We parted it out and recycled the bare head/block but I *might* still have that cam.

do you know if it was a stage 1 cam?
  • I don't know what it was called, but I would categorize it as a "stage 1" or a "street" cam. Pretty mild, nothing that will seriously affect idle/fuel economy

if I am not mistaken, the sohc 16 valve heads from this era, d15b2 or d16a6 are basically the same head. dx-si not hf or dohc zc

try the mpfi swap also to compliment the cam

thanks for that akira ;) i am already in the works on the MPFI..
  • If you want a D16a6 cam, I know I have a Crower in the garage. Very aggressive top end...you will hit the rev limiter.
MPG takes a hit though. Went from 30ish to 22ish

at ths point im not looking for a very aggressive cam, just a milder "street" one.
