RT4WD Shift Linkage Question

Hey guys,

I just picked up my first RT4WD Wagon, and am reading a lot to learn, but I do have a question regarding the shift linkage or shifter. I've owned a couple manual Wagons, as well as other EDs, but none seem to shift like this one. It shifts SO easy...almost like it wants to go into gear. Am I crazy or is there something different on the shift linkage or tranny that makes it have this feel?

    It's a cable operated shifter, unlike pretty much any other older Honda/Acura, which are rod actuated. Probably why it feels so different to you. I thought the same thing when I first drove my RT4WD.

    Yeap - cable shifted and smooth as anything is its all adjusted correctly.
