85 Wagon, How do I get the blower motor out?

Well I just recently bought a wagon its an 85 and I was messing with the climate control levers and buttons one day, when I switched it to fresh air from recirculate it sounded like the blower might of sucked something into it "dirt" "mouse nest" I'm not quite sure. I went to tackle taking it out tonight and there is plenty of access to the motor but I don't have enough clearance underneath to pull it out, the floor board gets in the way of dropping it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    the unit is accessed from inside the cabin of the car.
    from inside the cabin you take out the glove box.
    dont try to do it with out taking the box out. it will be a pain.

    from there you can also do a clean up job on the ducts and such while you have it out.
