picked this up in trade for a ls swapped 96 civic ex coupe

bone stock

1991 civic rt4wd
stock d16a6 even stock air box ...

motor tapped a valve so i replaced the head but lower end damage was done which showed up later ... in the meanwhile tho i did...

yakima roof rack
coilovers
12k hids
amber corners and bumper lights
red out on the rear signals
got the rare hanger bars for the rear side windows
wink mirror
da integra center console
bullbar and piaa foglights

than sadly the lower end damage showed up ... so project zc wagon took place

i got a blown dohc zc from a buddy

so we rebuilt it ... were just told the bearings so at the same time i got a turbo kit also so i could put it on 7 lbs ... well someone lied so there it sat for a month till i could get parts

... well lucky me while we were waiting for parts (which were all returned since) i got an offer to buy another dohc zc .. heres the setup

DOHC ZC

vitara pistons
golden eagle rods
arp rod bolts
arp head studs
arp hardware in head
no name b16 adjustible cam gears
cometic head gasket
tuned ecu
thats the motor setup i got a deal on

and the turbo setup
dsm 450cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
hks rep bov
turbo xs wastegate
t3/t4 turbo .57 trim - starting 18 lbs motor built for 30

she should be one fast little mother

Hopefully you are going to mill the hell out of the head with those vitara's. The DOHC ZC has a much larger combustion chamber than the SOHC D16 heads and when you put the dished vitara's in a DOHC ZC you will have compression in the 7:1 range. It will feel horrible out of boost and even in boost. Also golden eagle doesn't make rods for the D16 engines, it's "Eagle" rods. Just a heads up.
