My 91 civic wagon has an idling issue and sometimes wont start unless given some gas?

Hi, first off i want to start off by telling you my make and model: 1991 Honda Civic Wagon Dx d15b2 engine bone stock.

My car has been having issues starting up and sometimes it would start up and shut off due to low rpm at stops it would drop to about 500 rpm and sometimes lower :x. anyways i haven't looked for any vacuum leaks yet but im pretty sure it is a vacuum leak because i have one vac line that is cut and has a screw in it so it wont suck up to much air(i bought the car that way). I am having trouble locating were the hose is supposed to plug due to it being cut short and all. I would really appreciate it if you can take some time off your busy time and take a look at your engine bay and help me out! here are some photos of what im talking about. It is right under the throttle cable. any help will be greatly appreciated i will also be cleaning my iacv and checking all my hoses once my money is in. Thanks in advanced!

okay so i did some research and i seem to be missing a piece to my intake manifold and also the previous owner switched the hose around the cut one is supposed to go on the right slot and connect to some piece that is on the intake manifold... which is the piece im missing. does anybody know what this part is called in this diagram?

I think that is called the "dashpot". Check under your hood there should be a vacuum diagram and will tell you were all the hoses go and name of the components. Hopefully your hood still has that label under there. good luck.

yeah i checked under the hood before anything and the previous owner had actually painted over the diagram but i think i figured it out i just need to know the name of that part or im just going to scavenge for one at a local pick and save...

I still havent found that part... went to the junkyard today and this was the first time i only saw 2 ef's there... and for some reason both of them were missing the same pieces i was missing.. i found one on the floor but it was taken apart. but on the bright side i solved my low idling and my car is running great. if you take a look at the pics i posted notice that the throttle cable part doesnt have a nut or anything holding it in place. i got the spacers and all the pieces for that and put it back together and re positioned the throttle and bam it runs like a champ!
