This looks like a lot of fun! Is it hard getting used to when you have to turn? I think I would get lost in the cones. Sounds like you at one in the third video. haha

untill you understand the jist of what autox is all about, ya, it just seems like a sea of cones. Some courses are definatly worse than others. Once you start participating you start understanding whats going on a lot better. It doesnt take long to learn how to read them once you learn how to look ahead.

and ya, dropped a f-bomb in 3rd vid due to killing one cone, lol.

Haha, heard that. Saw some of the cones were laid on their side... Guessing you follow the way they lay in that situation?
This is something I would like to take part in though.

yep, good guess. thier called pointer cones. just there for directional values.

autox is a great way to learn the basics of driving in a no consiquence enviroment. perfect way to find the limits of your car so you dont accidentaly find them with a wall at the track you play on ;)

just go to www.scca.com and find the region locator. find the club closest to you and show up early on whatever day they have an event. If you like legal full throttle, local scca events are a great way to get some seattime. If theres not a scca club near you, try looking for a NASA club as well. Similar style events and both clubs have events on real tracks too if they are available in your area.
