All motor d16

I have some pretty lofty goals in mind, I want to stick with the d16a6 and make roughly around 150 all motor with keeping it as reliable as possible. I am not sure exactly where to start, I have been told of a few ways I can go but I would like some in put from you guys. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

D17 Stroker.
Edit:pm6 pistons(a6) stick out of the block 0.067 in. With the plr-a0(d17a2) pistons, the piston to deck height is .031 in. So mill the deck .030" and you will be set. Use a y8 head gasket and z6 head you are looking at 10.5:1 CR. Keep in mind you still need to notch the crank girdle and block a little bit.
Here is the setups I'm still looking into for my rt.
a6 block
d17a2 crank, rods, pistons
y8 2-layer headgasket
y8 head
CR=11:1
On all OEM parts coupled with a vtec intake manifold should get you around 140-145 hp to wheels along with some good torque.
Add a decent cam and some port and polish, tune it, we are looking at 150hp on all oem parts for a reasonable cost. More work than money put into this setup though. It wouldn't be too bad to throw some high comp pistons in the stock a6 block and a vtec head will get you close also.
thanks for the corrections ludeman on the piston height.
also check on the 7th gen civic forum for those blocks. guys are selling them constantly.
the only thing u can machine if u want to is the deck height of the block. knock off .040 to bring the pistons deck flush!
my best ET so far with my stroker is 14.0 @ 95mph. its easily got 13s in it. best numbers so far is 146whp/120ftlbs, and thats still on an unported Y8 head and a stock cam!!
Haven't checked this in a while, do you still have them?
Do you have a build thread some where I can check out?
