Rookie mistake, 89 crx si

Heres the story, pulled a d16a6 out of an 89 crx si to put a z6 head on it and change out all of the seals and replace all of the rubber. we got the car running and idle was wierd, that had to do with the tps being broke (whoops). We broke the tps sensor pulling it out, in order to calibrate the new one my friend wired in a vafc temporarily with what we thought was the right schematic but turned out that he was reading it backwards. went to turn the car on. The main relay clicked but no power to the ecu (no red or green LED on the diagnostic lens). Checked all the fuses in the engine bay fuse box. pulled out each and checked with a meter. this fuse box was very warm after the incident. No power to starter or ecu.

Can anyone help out a rookie mistake? haha thanks in advance.

  • checked all of the fuses in the engine bay and the interior, seem okay. but in the engine bay box it says "main fuse" but i cannot find that one. is that where i would have to replace the box to see if thats the solution?
