you can buy or make a carbon fiber box for the subs and shape it into the form of the trunk area, remove the rear seats and put another panel to hold your amps, it'd look good and save weight.
it'd probably be a total of around 100 pounds, compaired to the giant thick box you had.

nar nar this is a full blown comp sound systems 50,000 plus including install not a little systems mate there is a pic with 8 battery an half the box puttin pics up soon ok ull see
it might sounds amazing, but i highly doubt it's worth the weight. you can get comp subs 8 - 12" and have extremely good quality, for half the weight.
you can also hook each sub to it's own amp and each amp to it's own capicater and 1 battery per amp and you could save a lot of weight.
it all depends on money man. if you drop 200$ for some really high end capicaters and around 700$ for 2 really high end comp 12" subs and around 2000$ for two comp amps with around 1000 - 2000 watt rms you might be in debt, but you'd loose a lot of weight and have really really good sound quality.
i can tell you know what you're talking about, i mean damn, look at those vans, but this isn't as roomy as those vans nor can it haul as much.
