New from SC

Hey guys, just picked up my first Wagovan. I've been into Hondas for years now, but never once considered owning one of these, but after looking into how awesome these things can be, I'm stoaked to have gotten my hands on it. She's not much to look at now, but thats gonna be changing soon. Looking forward to this project and to getting to know you guys on the forum.

Welcome to the site. Hope to see more!
  • Wow. Only my first post and I feel like an idiot! Had to search to find out what was up about the difference in names. I had absolutely no idea.
And now my shame is forever documented.

The interior is fairly decent. I'll be posting up more once I start a build thread. Just wanted to get introduced.
  • Hey, now Skitso. I got mine in Greenville, SC from the original owner
    Welcome!
    Any problems with yours?

Glad to know there are other wagons in this state. I've maybe seen one other in the ten years I've lived here. And other than the rust, there doesn't seem much wrong with it. It's got high mileage (228k), but the previous owner had a lot work done and it's one of the smoothest stock Hondas I've ever purchased.

  • ^ Thanks. Good to hear I'm not the first. I'm just glad it got pointed out to me quickly. I've even passed the correct terminology on to my buddies, although they keep saying Wagovan anyway.

    Yeah we jus' messin. ;)

    Whats with the name "skitso?"
  • ^^ It was actually a nickname I was given to me in middle school because I was sort of spastic and all over the place. Hated it at first, but it ended up growing on me and I've been using it for years as a username on forums and video games. Kind of immature for a 22 year old, but I guess I'm too lazy to come up with something new.
  • Nothing is immature about still using a nickname you were given as a kid. Maybe a bit immature at the time you were given the name. My buddies thought it would be funny to have the announcer at one of my soccer games call me Ragenasian instead of by my name (I got lots of red and yellow cards, paid a few fines as well) all had a good laugh and at 34 still using it as well.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay here.

Welcome Skitso! Nice wagon, I see that you have the rusty quarter panels as well. I'll be taking care of those on mine next and posting updates. I did the same exact thing (last week) with the wagovan (look at my screen name...lol) I'm still trying to get it changed! I can't use the private messages yet to have the moderators to change it. Maybe CARB can help me out...
Another wagon owner on the east coast here in Annapolis, Maryland. I have family in Florida and cruise through South Carolina at leat twice a year (maybe we can meet).

I know! Those would have been first on the list had I bought one without them. So now I have extra cash for other stuff. 8)

Yeah, I'm fixing the rust on mine next week hopefully. And yeah, I'd really be down to meet up. I've only seen one other Wagon in my town so far and haven't been able to catch him anywhere, so it'd be nice to meet some other wagon owners.
  • Good to see there is another SC wagon owner!
    Welcome
