It doesn't have many upgrades because I'm currently building an eg which can be viewed here http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showt ... hp?t=19798 , but i have many plans for it in the near future.

I guess ill go back to the beginning i purchased this vehicle in april of 2011. To use as my daily driver. I had many plans for it but they were all set for the future.

It was in very good condition based on many that I've seen and only had 96k original miles. It is an automatic though:/ but no worries.

The first modification i made was throwing on the diamond racing steelies off my eg. With no suspension mods besides some cut springs it was not sitting very pretty especially in the back.

    435.jpg

Next would come a nicely tucked exhaust and suspension. Koni G/C combo with 850/750 lb/in spring rates.

Afterwards it sat like this! I loved but it was in desperate need of a front lip.

The biggest problem i have with wagons are the way there rear subframe is set up. Compared to the sedans it is so much difference and in my opinion pointless. Im probably going to come up with some way to custom fabricate one.
  • I like it. It's lower than I'd ever put mine, but the fact that you're 18 and doing cars properly (albeit, not my style, persay) but at least it isn't some heated up hacked up suspension - the wheels fit for the purpose, and its clean. You're making progress. I guess when I see the 18 yr old kids running around town here, its riced out shitboxes galore and it gets old fast.

The fact you use the identical GTI lip I did on my wagon gets a thumbsup from me. The fact that it is slightly off center (like mine is, lol) is even more awesome. They're a bitch to line up by yourself and get a few screws in. The way I look at it, is that is adds a little more character to my car - compliments the rusted out ends of the Yakima bars rear well on my roof rack (bought the car with it on it and don't have a key to remove it - and haven't ordered one yet).

That subframe, I dunno - I think the only way you could go about making more clearance is to build one yourself.
  • Your wagon is awesome! What other suspension parts are you using? And how do you like the diamond racing wheels and this set up for daily driving?
Once again very nice! And welcome!

  • I'm loving the stance, How does the koni yellow with g/c's ride that low? do you have tophats?
  • Sweet wagon.....even sweeter build thread, I just finished all 11 pages and am kind of disappointed because you aren't done with the eg.

Nice seeing diamonds on another wagon.

Yea sad thing is I sold my diamonds about a week ago to my buddy (he has a white ef sedan) and now I'm riding on steelies at stock height so no fun:/

Once i get the eg done for the most part though there will be some legit wheels coming for the wagon. Im already starting to save money now.
  • very clean bro both of your rides

Look at the pic of the subframe, it is pretty obvious he is dragging it.

Yes my subframe scrapes quite a bit which annoys me! Its the lower control arms that i worry about wearing through:/

And yes Stefan is rocking my wheels now haha. Im guessing you know him?
