Cut shock towers

I was wondering if anyone on here cut out there shock towers for upper control arm clearance? I've seen a couple people do it on other cars and I was wondering if it's actually worth it or safe, I'd like to talk to somebody who has done it and get there opinion

    im pretty sure MrM3 done it on his Wago... Im gettin ready to do mine when my new suspension gets here... im building mine back tho, not leaving it open.

    Yea I saw his, it looked like it came out well on his car, I was just wondering if it was worth all the work

    If you want the super low stance he has, thats baiscally your only option

    Not sure if mrm3 cut his, but pavementwago did cut his i'm sure.
    Yes its safe if you weld a cover over it, people have run with it just cut out... Never heard of anything bad happening but ya never know!

    Yes guys I did it and it didn't make a huge difference. Mrm3 was going to but didn't. The a arm still hits under right where its bolted up. Im not sure how some are lower then me but I can't go lower due to some major wheel hop. Might be axles binding or bad traction bar. Best bet is to raise the shock tower up completely. I'd like to do this at some point
