Engine Harness problem....

I'm in the middle of doing a swap and wire tuck and just noticed that the engine harness on the drivers side plug has an extra wire. I don't have the original engine harness that came with my 88 wagon so I had to go to the junkyard and pull one off a 91 Civic hatchback. I thought it would be the same but it isn't. The drivers side plug from the cabin has 11 wires and the one coming from the engine has 12 wires. Is there anything I can do to make this harness work? I don't want to go back to the junkyard cause all I seen was 90 & 91 civics.

I am in the middle of sorting out a wiring myself.
I am looking at the 1991 FSM and it shows the DX and 4wd/AT has 14 connectors. This is the big connector near the injector resistor pack.
The 4wd manual has 8 connectors.

Just keep in mind there is a difference between auto and manual.

The wiring I'm doing is a manual transmission. The left over wire is a green/black wire which I think goes to the reverse switch. I think 2 wires don't match up when I connect the plug on the drivers side. Is this due to different year harnesses? I emailed rywire about it but still no response. I've done 3 wire tucks already and this is the only one I'm having problems with.

Ok figured out what the extra green/black wire was. It was for the reverse switch on the tranny. Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for it? Been reading through my Chiltons manual and couldn't find ish.... googled and still nothing... I think the wire might just be a ground but not sure. if anyone can please help me find a wiring diagram. TIA

Thank you markl! I just found a similar diagram on another forum a couple of minutes ago. Now I gotta trace that wire from the reverse lights to the firewall and hook it up. Hopefully everything else is ok. Man, HCW really has helpful people on here!
