Interior Lighting LED

Here is a interior light solution I came up with. LED's are easy to install and draw very little voltage/amps.
I found white LED strip in bulk reel. It's cut and soder type with 3M self adhesive backing for custom lengths. It comes in various colors and at under 60 bucks for 16' its a steal. For this set up I got rid of the OEM rear view and visors (they sucked anyway) and went with a "racing style" wide mirror and yes it added 1mph to my top speed...lol. I wired it all to an auxillary fuse panel from West Marine and used an on/off button which I mounted to the dash near the wheel. I used two prong molex connectors and 22awg wire which I got at a local electronis store. Enjoy.
bulk LED....
Cut at the designated spot to length....
solder points....at the cut.
Mounted to the mirror....
Pig tail for power which will be tucked into the headliner..
Testing 123...
Let there be light!!

May I ask why you pit lights under there? And not do like a DA maplight mod?
Just curious, why all the trouble.
I use my Wag for work and I usually have a car desk in the passenger seat for my laptop. The dome light wasn't cutting it. I like the look of the wide rear view and I hated the sloppy sun visors so it just made more sense this way. I'm not familiar with the DA map-light, i'll have to check it out.
Decided I needed some light in the cargo area.... so up went more LED strip. Im good now.
they have a bunch of different colors and sizes with good pricing.
