Power windows/locks installation using 99 Integra LS Wiring?

Hey HCW, so I've been looking around the past few days and compiling all the threads related to power window conversions and I think I got the general idea of how it needs to be done but I have one issue I think I may run into.

I have a 1990 Civic Wagon DX that I picked up recently off a member on here and the problem is that I have a 99 OBD2 Integra swap. Not just the motor swap either, everything from the front-back of the car is all Integra OBD2 wiring (yes I know what you're thinking) I'm wondering what kind of issues I will run into when trying to wire in the power windows and locks? I have found a complete donor 89 LX sedan that I will be using parts from. If anyone has any experience with the kind of problems I may run into please chime in. I'm still on the fence and trying to decide if the conversion will be worth it or not. thanks in advance.

  • I'm doing a similar conversion on my wagon except I'm using obd1 civic wiring instead of integra obd2. But I'm also using the ef sedan windows and locks. If you get the firewall harness and the rear harness from the ef, you should get all the wiring you need. Don't forget the window relay on the back of the under dash fuse block. If your using the wagon fuse block it will clip right into the back. On the sedan the door lock power wire plugs into the back of the fuse block, I tryed to use the same plug on the wagon fuse block, but there was no power there. So I used one of the plugs on the front of the fuse block that had a constant 12v. The other issue I ran into was the junction conector from the firewall harness to the rear harness. The wagon conector doesn't have enough empty spots to add the window/lock pins, so I used the sedan conector and repined all the wagon wiring into that.

Good luck. It will be worth it in the end.
