You will have mixed reviews on the subject though as I have researched it as well. Some will swear that an adapter is one of the worst things you can put on your car and that it can have adverse effects on bearings and suspension parts but others will tell you they have been running them for years with no problems. To me it is no different then running a super wide wheel with some stupid camber, people do it and have the same mixed reviews. I have a set of adapters for my wagon as I have more 4x114 wheels then I have 4x100. I didn't run them for long because soon after I got them the car went into an extended stay in my garage. Like I said, this will be like many other things on cars you research, some will say don't do it, others will say they have never had any problems. I don't think I would go out and track a car with adapters but for street use as long as you install them properly I would run them without any hesitation. I might actually be installing mine back on with some crazy JDM 13's.
I have no idea what a picture is going to do for you as it is just a wheel on a car but here you go.
