Can an Auto P28 work with a stock RT4WD transmission?

So after searching and not finding an exact answer I am curious if the following set up will work?

D16Z6(long-block)
RT4WD auto transmission
OBD1/VTEC conversion
P28 (Auto)

I am asking specifically about the ECU, I am aware of the process to swap the D16Z6 in... Thanks!

Not much response here I guess. Here is the answer just as an FYI for anyone searching in the future:

"An auto P28 will run the engine and properly signal the Interlock Control Unit. It will not control the lockup solenoid properly, so yes you will need to wire up a signal of some sort.
You will also need to either make a pair of resistor dummy-solenoids to make the ECU think it's connected to something, or bypass the lockup solenoid driver ICs inside the ECU (the cleaner solution if you know how to solder/desolder PCBs). The car will still drive okay if you don't do one of the above, but the check engine light will be on all the time." - bobski via CRXCommunity.com

"TC doesn't need locked, but you will lose 2-3 mpg, but IMHO the car cruises better!
