yeller lights... (pics)

so i painted my headlights yellow---
and im not sure i like it... sort of hate it as a matter of fact:
what do you guys think?

it's like the front of your car is citrus-flavoured! (orange and lemon)

i'm not a fan of the all-orange corner lights, and i think it creates too much contrast against the yellow headlights and auxiliaries.

maybe if the car wasn't red.

it's just a lot of red tones and undertones without any real relief - all the black does is pull the total colour level darker. making the orange seem more red, and not providing proper support for the yellow.

i think on a white (or even cream) car, it would be the absolute shiznit. but it just doesn't seem to work with your paint scheme.

try getting all the panels aligned better it might look better.

yeah the hood is a little messed up- but so is life... so its cool...

the lights dont look good because they dont fit the color of my car...

it looks awesome at night though-- i love it at night...

let us know if the police give u hell for it. i got crap for my 10k hid's in my teggy but sold the car before the threats became a ticket. some night shots would be dope as well.

no, i've just been studying (informally) both automotive design and visual art for almost twenty years.

well, i've been formally studying visual art for longer than that. but that's neither here nor there.
