Fuel And Temp. Gauge !

I Just recently bought a wagon from a friend. and i noticed that the fuel meter does not move from empty and also that my temperature gauge also does not move ! What could be the problem ?

    For ur fuel gauge, your going to have to find the signal wire to the fuel pump and ground it. This should move the needle on the cluster from empty to full. If it does not move ur cluster is bad. If it does move ur sending unit is bad.

    The temp gauge could either be a disconnected or bad coolant temp sensor. Good luck!
