seatbelts

my seat belts are destroyed like the buckle part. is there a way i can just disconnect the wire? because since i cant buckle i have the beeping the entire time im driving and its rather annoying

  • mine was beeping all the time even if it was plugged in or not and i found one of the wires under the hood where it connects to the battery was broke off and disconected so thats how i fixed mine probly no help for u but worth a shot also u could unplug the beeper box under the dash its located under the drivers side its black if that helps.
  • try going to the dealer, if theyre original and you have a clear title, they should be able to replace it no charge

    I agree try the dealer, in the mean time you can pull the fuse under the hood on the pas. side that says hazard. Before you do that roll your belts all the way back (theres a little plug on the bottom trim between your doors it is a hex bit) turn that until the belts are locked all the way back. Tip.. go in from the back door. Once there pull that fuse. You will have to undo them manually but no more beep and no more red flashing seatbelt light. Now try and fix it the right way cause your hazards wont work and probably a few other things. Just reread your post.. You need to try the dealer if you cant buckle your seatbelt or the JW.
