stripping down my 88 with rust and building a 91 RT
bpr00civicsi
New Wagonist
91 prelude steering wheel installed.
Im going to wire horn and fog lights to cruise control buttons
gsr center console is put in and short throw shifter as well.
97 integra seats are in and that was easy to do with no welding or seat pan swaps
just using tall wagon rail and inner integra rail with two weldable steel flat bars from lows
and a few bolts.
I also have converted to multiport and pulled the d15b2 out and put in a d16a6
ill post some pics of the integra seats in the car and the mounting plates i made.
soon ill pull the d16 out and put a b18a1 in that i have.
it will eventually be ls vtec with ind throttle bodies

parts were missing, so i did a multiport setup and replaced head gasket and had it back on the road in few days.
The car was free didnt pay a dime the owner just wanted it gone.
You will need 10 bolts (M8-1.25) lock washers and nuts to match. The steel bar will need to be cut into two 17 inch pieces.
On pass side take the wagon rail off, it should be held on with two bolts and then do the same with the integra seat, it should be bolted on by three bolts. bolt the wagon rail to the floor, take your 17 inch plate and lay it flat on top of the wagon rail with left side of plate flush with edge of wagon brackets. Use two pairs of vise-grips to hold in place, then take black perm marker, from under wagon rail bracket mark holes where you will drill holes or the plate to bolt to rail. Once holes are drill in plate bolt it to the rail then sit integra seat in car. Bolt the front of the integra seat into place. Both seat rails should be all the way forward. If the seat sets level in car and the right outer edge of the plate should line up with the holes on the seat, if so mark with the marker where the holes will be drilled on plate for seat to be bolted up. you will have to use wagon wire cable for seat to be able to slide back and forth.
The rear bracket for the seat to bolt up is a one inch wide and four inch long piece of weldable steel from lows as well.
Drill a hole for the bar to bolt into factor hole and one to bolt to seat rail. You bolt bracket to floor first then to seat rail. may have to use vise to bend bracket and use 4 or 5 washers under bracket where it bolts to floor to make seat level.
this is the front viewthis is the rear
this is left rear bracket and it will need to be trimmed down so that it does not stick out past rail.
Here is my multiport set up, You can buy a multiport harness for $350 but i made my own using honda connectors from a wrecked car i had.
nice clean install, ties into factory harness nicely.
By the way, It looks like your car is a wagovan, not a DX. At least it had Wagovan front seats and door panels. Does it have an EY VIN? No matter, in my eyes Wagovans are more desirable because of their rarity. Good stuff.
For a while I had the exact same wheel and center console in my blue wagon.
What mods did you do to your DC2 cupholder? it fits better than mine.
Ill take mine out and take pictures and explain how I got it to fit so well.
Seats too. Lol.
Keep up the good work.
< has fat fingers.
I have a Prelude S wheel on one of my wagons, and it has the same clearance issue.
wagon parts are non existent in Oklahoma, where is everyone getting their edm and jdm parts from?
pics of your console fitment?
They must be "meaningful" posts...on the forum...maybe contributing somehow... not just on your thread.
I think it's all of the older honda steering wheels that have the clearance issues.
I have a 86 CRX Si steering wheel on mine and I can't even turn on my high beams LOL
Prelude wheel looks good with your seats and center console.
