Very cool! Love the look, the white walls are killer!!! Loving the roof rack as well. So well done!
  • Using the lip of the rims to simulate white-wall tires is brilliant!

I am a big fan of this one!

GAHDAMNIT! GOT TO THE IDEA I HAD BEFORE I COULD!!! NOOOO! But that's ok, doesn't look as good as I thought it would. From a distance it looks looks like bad paint. lolol But I do love the wheels! The ''white wall'' is awesome!

Now that I got my wagon running, the Wife asked if I was going to paint it.
I told her we're going to wrap it in wood grain vinyl.
Now I can see it's a pretty good idea.
    You may have started something...
  • That looks awesome! Looks like you have a good bit of work into your wagon. I'm really diggin' the surfboards and bamboo roof rack.

Lol. If you take my opinion at ''hate'' that's fine. As long as YOU like what YOU do to YOUR car then you're doing something right. I'm not trying to debate who had the idea first either, just stating I had this idea before it had physically been done (you may have too) and I'm glad I saw it on something else before I spent the time to do it myself. It's just not what I expected is all. I may not like every little thing you do to your car, but I can appreciate anyone who does something out of the ordinary. A j swap would be BADASS in a wagon. I can't wait to see one of those done.....*ahem*Charb.........

i respect that, maybe i just over read your "But that's ok, doesn't look as good as I thought it would. From a distance it looks looks like bad paint." comment. no sweat for every 1 person that doesnt like it theres 50 that love it! to each there own i guess right!?

    I've got a J32A2 if interested...

You gonna stick around for a bit? Or sell it in a month and disappear for 6? lol

    ^^ LMFAO^^

About the wood treatment: yeah, I've thought about it for awhile. Props to you for DOING it. It's classic station wagon style, a holdover cue from when cars really were handbuilt from wood.

I guess now I'll have to do something different on the new project, hmmm.

Very inspirational. Even if you don't like the theme, the effort and the execution is awesome. I really like the trim color change, you don't see that often. I like it.
