Alignment Specs - Do I need Camber Kit?

After dropping the car and energy suspension bushings, I took my car in to get an alignment. They replaced the inner tie rod in the process as well, and this is what my specs came out to be (they recommended camber kit, but what do you guys think):

Front Left/Right
Camber
-1.8 / -1.2 / -.06 Cross Camber
Caster
3.0 / 3.1 / -.1 Cross Caster
Toe
-.08 / .06 / -.14 Total Toe

Rear Left/Right
Camber
-3.2 / -2.0 / -.10 Total Toe
Toe
.11 / -.22 / .17 Thrust Angle

It would help with tyre wear so for the price of a set of camber arms over the course of your ownership you could save a lot on tyres

Most of your tire wear is going to come from excessive TOE (which yours looks high). I usually try to get mine as close to zero as possible. If you don't go more than 2.5* on the camber the tire wear is minimal.
  • Yes. No more than a 1/2 to 1 degree on camber or you will see tire wear. Also toe should be at zero and remember to have caster 1/2 degree higher on the front right side to compensate for road crown.

I run -2degrees rear, and -2.25 front on my ITR and dont see any camber wear? Even after trackdays.

I personally dont like the feel of running very low camber in Honda's, I have -.05 in the back of my Shuttle and it feels weird to me. Doesnt behave like I feel it should

Let me rephrase: you are allowed so much neg or pos camber as per specifications. if your alignment is -2.0 degree and say a hypothetical spec is +0.0 degree to -2.0 degree for camber, you can go a extra .5 degree and should have to worry too much because your total degree is -2.5. so your technially only 1/2 a degree out of spec and will show minimal tire wear over time.
