Brake Booster ?

Sorry if this may be a repost. If so delete...

I need to replace mine and I was wondering if a manual will work for an automatic. I mean they are the same shape and size.

    Correction: They are NOT the same. The one on the automatic wagons is larger in diameter. I haven't paid much attention to the boosters on my RTs, don't know which size they are. (Both are '89 Rt4wds, one is auto.) I'm wondering if the larger booster comes with auto trans., or with power steering?

    All that being said, they will interchange, so will the CRX one.

    you're right, did a little research and any car with Power Steering came with the 9" boosters, (all RT4WD, Civic LX, EX, or any Civic with A/T). the other ones came with 8" boosters.

    like Bam said, it will still work either way.
