Which head do I have?

My wagon ('90 DX) has an engine with a replaced head. I know my engine is a "D15". Is there a way to know what head I have? Is it labeled somewhere?

The guy I bought it from mentioned something about "the thermostat housing being upside-down" ? He did the swap with the help of a friend who supposedly, "knew Hondas". I'd like to verify my timing is correct and any other complications involved with mismatched heads.

The car runs fine except for a slight high idle. 1,000 instead of 800rpm. Not a big deal. Just trying to set up the engine properly.

Thanks for the help!

head labels are stamped along the top, near where the Valve cover meets the head. should see stamps such as "PM3" or "PM9", etc... i have seen some heads with multiple stamps, simply because ---> D-series heads (or any honda heads as long as they are the same series) are pretty much all interchangeable (except the DOHC ZC, of course).

idle issue more then likely can be resolved by simply adjusting the idle screw.
