Regular accessory rear mudguards vs 4wd

Couldn't find it, but can anyone verify if regular rear mudguards are different sized than the 4wd ones? I know one says Honda and one says 4wd, but are they same or different sized? Thanks

2wd rears are shorter, and much harder to find

Is that really the case? 2wd are shorter? Harder to find?
  • All 4wd came with the rear mudguards but others were a dealer accessory, making them rarer

    Not that Rare..
I have sets of 2wds and 4wds in my Gold Parts stash... ;)
  • the 4wd mud flaps where put on evey single 4wd wagon, which means that they where very common.

the 2wd mud flaps where ONLY put on peoples wagon if they knew about then, wanted then and where willing to pay more $, which definitively makes then rare/ hard to find, depending on where you live, for example if you live in killer cali where they have million scrap yards then you might consider then not rare but if you live in oregon where there's about 50 scrap yards in the whole state then they would be considered rare here.

    Nope, I got it.

And I meant what I said.

Maybe I'll narrow it down to where I live... whenever there is a 2wd at the salvage yards here- they usually have flaps.

I'm sick of people like oldschoolef! and Robb jacking up the prices on everything, calling them 'rare'. Such bullshit... you guys are the reason prices are so high. And you don't do a damn thing from a technical standpoint. Just selling shit... weak sauce

But at least I'm not dumb enough to pay. I actually get off my ass and go to the yards and find things myself.

Just an observation I've made in my area but whenever I see 90-91 wagons they always seem to have rear mud flaps. So I just assumed the 88-89 were dealer options and the 90-91's came with them although I'm probably wrong. Also...

  • My 90 dx didn't come with them
  • 88-91 2wd wagon rr flaps are yes in fact an accessory (08156-sh510ah) in the us and the rt4wd's had oe rear flaps (that say 4wd). All are discontinued new. Rear flaps are super rare on ebay and here in the nw.

  that fine, everyone is entitled to there own option.

A while ago someone posted that there was close to 22,000 wagons on the road in the US and in a county where theirs 230 millions cars on the road, so i would have to say that yes honda civic wagons are diffidently RARE and if the wagons themselves are RARE, Wouldn't that make the parts RARE as well?
