Yay or Nay(like me wheels?)

I have a set of ASA (BBS knock offs) 16x7

Thinking about putting a larger A/T tire perhaps. (205/45)

I'm not sure how I feel about them, as though they aren't proper for the red RT. But I'm no JDM shit boy either, so let me know.

Not too bad, would have to really see them on the car.

A/T tires as in all terrain? Was looking at that myself, but the bfg AT tire I was thinking about in a 195/75R14 weighed seriously twice as much as my studless snow tires (195-60-14 Toyo observes). That is asking to much from my 253k motor, lol.

    God no. Barf.
  • Personally don't like the wheels but would have to see them on the wagon
  • if you like them, get them. everyone has there opinion.
i've had 2 sets of hre,a set of volks, set of works, set of ssr, set of konigs, 2 set of rotas, set of bbs rs, couple set of e30 bottlecaps.
    all that doesn't mean s!@#.
it doesn't matter what other people think, only what you think and how you it to look.
they look fine, just clean them up(paint/powdercoat/polish/).
    my 2cents.

  • Only asking because my vw friend asked me if it was odd that I'd put "german style" wheels on a japanese car. He thought it'd look good, but just posed the question and made want to think about it, before spending money on new tires.

I already have them, a friend of mine let me hold on to them, should I want to run 16"s on either the Si or Wagon.

I'll try them, and if I dont like em, sell em.
I just realized I spelled the title of this post like a pirate, my sincere apologies.

But that makes no sense because many Mitsubishi's (Lancer, Galant, late model Evo's etc) came from factory with BBS wheels.
Many other japanese companies (Subaru, Toyota and I think Lexus) all use BBS wheels as well.

How many German cars do you see with Work wheels? Quite a few, weird because they are "Japanese style"?
  • I'm not gonna listen to him.

Think he's just mad cuz he paid 1600 for his BBS RCs...and these are licensed replicas that i got for free.

    So what's he do?

Gets custom fitted CCWs....what a real asshole....

you know that bbs owns the asa brand. so basically they are bbs wheels. try them on and if you like, keep them on. I don't think they would look that bad. but everyone has an opinion. listen to your own.
  • I'm well aware that bbs owns asa...licensed knock offs...says it on the center cap.

I guess I am just to cheap to buy tires to put them on, and this is buying time.

I personally think they'd look tits...but what the hell I'll try it when I scrounge up some more money.
