Help Help Help Dpfi to Mpfi

K so i swapped in a d16a6 on my civic it formally had the d15blah blah.Anyway according to all the diagrams on this site I should have 2 open pins on 10 and 12,Well i don't i have 2 open pins on 11 and 12 so i ran the crank trigger and tdc sensor to those two.Car starts idles and everything but I have a code 4 and 20 .Crank trigger angle and power loss.Also car will not rev past 3500 RPM.What gives?Any ideas or suggestions?

    double check, then triple check your wiring. i had the same issue when i did my MPFI swap, and it took me a month of frustration and agony to finally notice i had two wires backwards :x

  • So turns out I had all the wiring correct,so i decided to swap in an old core distributor that I had kicking around.Turns out my new distributor was NFG.WTF is all I have to say.Almost a full day of headache due to a defective part.Somebody is gonna get a hurt real good.

    ive had really good luck with Ultra-8 brand distributors, which are available at napa and lordco for a little more $
