so my Aiwa CDC-MP3 died - after six years of constant use and three different cars, that's pretty good. it was one of the first car decks that could play MP3 files on CD.
i've replaced it with a Blaupunkt Monterrey MP35. they're available from Crutchfield right now for $70.
i've got to say, if anybody needs a new deck, this would be a great one to pick up. the colours of the face are adjustable to match the existing dash lighting, it's got adjustable dimming for when you turn on the headlights (i adjusted mine so the intensity matches the factory clock), and it's got preamp outputs for front, rear and a mono sub.
