Hello from Garland, Texas

Just bought an '89 RT4wd w/6 speed. $700 with a miss on one cylinder and excellent condition otherwise. Will be building a DOHC ZC engine with stroker crank to make a good tow/support vehicle for my CRX play car. Am taking the 15 in. Rota Slips off my former DD, installing lowering springs, new shocks and changing to Integra seats this weekend. I'll start driving it next week, can't wait. A shop in my area (Dallas) is giving me a quickie re-build on the d16a6 this week so I can finish building the ZC without having to drive on 3 cylinders or use my current DD (CRX) as a truck any longer. Have you ever tried to move a short-block in a lowered CRX with your 220 lb buddy along to help load it? It gets a little bumpy, I can tell you!

Can anyone direct me to a place a Rover-Honda ZC valve cover might be available? I saw one on the web and loved it, but they are rare.

Pictures of the little Tug Boat will follow as soon as I can get a camera back from my teen-age kids. They assume any electronics left unattended for more than 10 seconds is theirs.

By the way, does Rickie take the cigarette out of his mouth when he is tasting gas?

Could be. I bought it in Weatherford, TX and drove it to Garland. It's actually gold, but looks tan in photos. Driveshaft is missing, so I will need some help to make it 4WD again. May be back on the road this weekend, the engine (d16a6) is getting a quickie overhaul right now, and should be done today or tommorow. It was missing badly on #1, probably bad rings, the compression is down and she uses a lot of oil, but I've got a ZC DOHC I'm building for it with 76mm Vitara pistons and a d17 stroker crank. Should make a lot of torque with 1715cc and the 6 speed, so I can tow my CRX PlayRacer with the LS Turbo.
