86 Wagon - (3rd Generation)

What's the rep with 86 "wagovans"?
I noticed most here have the hondas built after 90's.
Anyhow, I may have found a decent deal on one (it's dead stock), but I figured I'd ask you guys.
I'm new to the scene.
Thanks all!

i have an 86 wagon ( not a wagovan!!!!!!!) and i like it a lot more then my old 88 wagon.
pros: small things like the rear sky lights , the reclining back seat, all the seats fold flat ( completely flat, not like my 88 that the back seats would only go "almost" flat
cons: most are carbs and not FI, aftermarket parts are scarce if there are any at all, not a lot of info on a lot of aspects of the wagon
redpepperracing has the most info on 3rd gen civics/1stgen crx and some companies are starting to produce after market parts for the 3rd gen civics
i say if you are looking for an "easy" wagon dont get a 3rd gen, but if you dont mind learning and reading and getting dirty and its a good deal i say go for it.
if its rust free and 4wd and FI i say GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( then ship it to me !!
3rd gen Pro:
1)Front seat can recline flat so it's flat all the way back.
4th gen can "almost" lie flat all the way back if you unbolt (2-4 bolts) lower rear seat cushion .
2)You can upgrade a lot of components to 1st gen Integra parts(e.g. brakes, engine).
3)'86-'87 have flush front headlites.
3rd gen Con:
1)Must religiously change oil due to oiling prob in the cam brg.area.Clogging I think.Car & Driver or Road & Track Mag had a article about this years ago.Causes cam brg. prob.Mine snapped a cam.I replaced the cam & lost 1 mpg due to bent valve.
2)4th gen handles better ,but most will not notice it.
3)Less speed parts
4)Less 3rd gens around.
o brother dont i know it !!!
i still love my wagon even after 9 months of looking at it sit there , now i am so close to having my wagon running again ( for now  ) ....
but i knew zero about repairing cars , let alone 3gen civics when i sold my 88 wagon for my 86 , now i know so much about fixing cars in general and especially fixing carb'd civics. so to me it was totally worth it.
just depends on how much time and effort you can/want to put into learning the car, 3rd or 4th gen wagon....
