First thread!

Greetings!

I do not have a wagon yet, but I'm sure entertaining one. I currently have a Mustang GT (slightly moded) and Explorer; both kill me in gas. I didn't mind it back in the day, but I do now.

Anyhow, I've done alot of research and found that I really want a rt4wd. Then I found out how difficult it is to get one. Doesn't help that I have to write 9999999999999 posts before I'm able to take a peak at the classified sections here.

Any advice on what years to to stay away from would greatly be appreciated! Thanks all!

You mean 5 posts, and this thread?

    Can you see it now?
  • 88-91 are all pretty much the same. The 90-91's have an auto belt which a lot of people don't like. That's the only real big difference between the two that might make or break it for you. Other than that, standard Honda stuff. Rust in the rear corners, timing belt change at 100k or so, tie rod ends around 75k. If you are going for an RT4WD ask to put it on jacks to make sure all 4 wheels spin, and look out for a bad clunk on take offs.

Unfortunately, I can't see the classifieds yet.

Sorry about not responding before. I've been trying to track all my posts and threads here as of late.

    Great info! Thank you!

There was a 89 I was looking at on EBAY that was taken out before auction expired.

THese cars are hard to come by. Makes me want it more! Every car has their niche issues, so it's good to know I have a starting point when I start checking them out. To be honest, if the deal is cheap, I'll prob still buy it with the above issues; unless frame is damaged.

Again, thanks for the great info!

I haven't tried since yesterday or two days ago.

    THank you!
