Need help asap battery dieing

well the other day i noticed my back brake lights stay on ihave a 1991 rt4wd wagon can somebody help me please

    What do you mean stay on? Like when you shut the car off? Or their bright like the brake pedal is pushed down constantly? Need a few more details before we can help.

    there is a little rubber piece on the brake pedal so when you push it it makes contact to turn the brake on the rubber piece may be broken this happend on my integra let me try and find the how to for it. or it may be the brake switch

    that is why i posted that pic above because if you look at the first pic there is a circle around the 1st pic there is a little rubber cap that goes on top of that so it the car is off and the lights stay on check to see if that cap is there or not if not then that is your problem

    I had to buy the switch pad not to long ago because I had the same problem.
    2 0r 3 bucks from the dealership. They now make them out of a teflon type material instead of rubber,lasts forever.

    Yup, a telltale sign is pieces of plastic on your carpet from the brake switch stopper falling apart
