last weekend while hauling rock i kept driving by this car kinda sittin in a field. well last night i finally got a chance to go check it out the owner said it runs and drives but needs a battery and a tire. also said it was parked because it will start and run but when u turn it off it will not re-start even if u try to push start it. my brain clicked i knew exactly what it was especially since he said he put a new dizzy in it. got it for $200 threw a wheel on and drove her home. not a bad car but i want it just for parts till then screw it im gunna drive it. I even have the other 3 matching old school meshie 13's SCORE!

yeah i scored the EX last year for $200 but that will never happen again. i had this exact car back in HS as my first honda and i loved it. gunna wire in my cruise control so i can test it out then pull the entire harness from end to end out and into my wagon so it will be a clean factory style swap for the power windows, mirrors, locks, and what not. I got a free 91 lx with an auto tranny that i could have used heck it even had cruise but i was wierd about the auto belt and auto tranny crap..... this will keep it year specific. Its gunna be funny when the old owner sees me driving it and i tell him a $10 part was causing the issue.... I feel pretty good its the main relay thats bad.

Yep, probably main relay or ignition switch - I've had a couple of those go out and cause the no starting problem too. Thought it was main relay at first.

started up this morning ran a few minutes then i turned it off. went to re-start and got a code 16 fuel injectors. when the kiddo takes a nap im gunna swap the relay. i checked it out and i kinda want to take a trip to the junkyard and get a drivers fender some doors (both side have been broken into) and a drivers seat this thing could be sweet. i just dont know if i can part it out maybe i can find someone in WA with a wrecked LX that could do cash plus there car.....

got all 4 of my steelies on her, cleaned out the inside VERY GROSS,topped off fluids, adjusted the rear breaks, and put a new car air freshener in her. its so tempting to pimp this bitch i know for a fact there are 2 decent lx civics the same color in the junkyard sittin like 3 cars away from a blue RT and they could prolly have every single part to make this baby mint. I got all 4 of the gangster old school meshies off hopefully this weekend i can get the tires dis-mounted, give them a flat black paint job, and put my tires on them. the old gas sucks balls but i want to run it down low before i top her off with fresh stuff and a bottle of injector cleaner. would it be rude to call the dude i got it from and tell him it was a $10 part to fix it and that im commuting the bastard? even though my commute is no shit 7 miles....

thanx got a chance to paint the old school meshies. even made some honda center caps fit with a lil flare on the tabs. gunna put the tires on this saturday i think im gunna just post it up for sale theres no reason good enough to part it out even tho it may be a bitch to find another LX for parts..... oh well

Rims look good, the center caps look sick on them. Are they bronze or black? They look kinda bronze in the pics.

I cant kill this car so i went to the junkyard and i couldnt belive it there was a 91 LX 5 speed with cruise for $450 plus tax deliverd to my house and the kicker is that its also white with blue guts so ill be able to throw on a new fender, glove box, and all the lil misc crap the car needs.

had the parts car dropped off last night its got some realy good parts cant wait to get time to swap stuff over and get her cleaned up. motor and tranny are strong left town to do some stuff in yakima and she pulled the hills in 5th that to me means shes a runner.

im workin on that dont u worry. might have it traded for what looks to be a clean 91 LX thats an auto and the kid is too lazy to swap it. so well see if so ill get it and swap her to a 5 speed.
