B-series into Auto Dx body

I have an 89 CRX with a jdm b16a swap that I will eventually put into my '91 DX wagon. This isn't my first swap, but first to try to keep all the amenities (a/c & p/s) and the shell being AUTO!

Things I know I need to do:
Wire the vehicle from DPFI to MPFI
Swap the hubs to accept the cv axles
Wire Vtec
Pedals from the Crx
Throttle cable from Crx
Shift linkage bolts need to be drilled on the frame (the two 10mm bolts past the shifter)
Wire the "park" signal so that the ignition will let me take the key out.
Hasport B-series A/C bracket for EF's w/ factory a/c.
90-93 Integra Powersteering hose
90-93 P/S Bracket and Pump

My question is, can I just use my bseries hasport mounts? Or will I have to order a new tranny mount for 5spd to auto?
Any thing else you guys suggest I do?

I don't think you'll need to swap the hubs. I think it's only the HF hubs that don't work with B series axles. I could be wrong though since it's an auto, but I'd test fit your axles into those hubs before purchasing new ones. Also, the p/s won't swap over. I attempted this in my sedan with the b18 and the p/s pump physically won't fit between the head of the motor and the upper front brace. I ended up swapping a non power steering rack into my sedan (if you want to swap it, do it before you put the motor it - it's easier.) Innovative mounts also makes a a/c mount for the b series, I can probably get it cheaper for you than the hasport one. I'm using one on my setup now.

I will definitely have to give you a shout when I am ready to purchase an a/c bracket! Are you a vendor/work at a shop?

I will probably test fit the axles into my hubs, and if they don't work its no big, after all I am getting this swap out of my running crx.

And as for a b-series into an auto shell, can I just reuse my mounts from the rex? I understand doing the wagon swap is like any 88-91 civic(hatch, sedan, or crx) but I have done a couple of 5spd swaps into 92-95 civics and 94-01 integras and they need an "auto to 5spd" mount because of the massive transmissions because the auto trans that sits higher than the 5spd.

As for the powersteering, I read a post where a guy put P/S & A/C in his bseries EF. I can not find the link at this time but I'll keep searching. I think he used the following:
    90-91 Integra Power steering pump
    90-91 Integra Power steering bracket

... the catch was that he used a D-series P/S pulley w/ the integra pump. And as for the bracket, he was using the hasport a/c bracket which blocked off the bottom bolt holes for the bottom p/s bracket, so he had to make a custom one. I will try to find the link, until then we can wait till I get started on my car

Ya, I'm a vendor and have a shop. I never though about swapping the pulleys - that might have worked. I think the Innovative mount blocks the p/s holes as well, so it was probably just as easy to swap the steering rack. The p/s to non p/s swap isn't hard, and it's kinda nice not having to worry about p/s lines and fluid. he he

All your mounts should bolt right in, I don't think you should have to do anything special on the EF's. Should be able to just use the ones from your CRX.

Fa sho stampern, thanks for clearing that up.

I do get what you mean about not having to hassle with unneccessary fluid and lines, lol. My honda history usually were crxs or hatches that were factory with no p/s. Its a good work out when you are parallel parking too hehe.

I will keep the manual rack in consideration; I could pull that out of the crx as well (poor crx). But I may take a shot at this.. will let you guys know how it goes when the time comes.

And for the impatient ones, it'll probably be mid Aug. Bummer I know, but I will not be home from Afghanistan till the end of July.
