Rear Toe Kit

I go thru a set of tires every 3 months or so ... i need a rear toe kit... any body have feed back on toe kits i saw a thread about the blox rear toe not being long enough or something? im wondering what kit you guys are running on your lowered wagons
and if any one has any feed back on runnning with or without spherical bushings and wether it is logical to run the spherical bushings as i have read somewhere that the rear toe doesnt get enough impact to wear the cheaper bushings making the more expensive spherical bushings less appealing .

Black works ~$80

Blox~$80

PWJDM SPHERICAL BUSHING ~$150

roughly two times the price but is it worth it for having a more solid suspension?

I have some from Wicked Tuning and like them so far. They have around 1200 miles on them so I don't know about long term. The best part is they are around $50 on eBay.

i forgot to add them i saw that in your build.. as far as your concerned would spherical bushings really make much of a differece on this application?

I personally don't see the benefits being worth the money difference. If it is just a daily driven car or a nice day car I say it's extra money for nothing. But if you do any serious racing then why not buy the best you can get and get spherical bearings?

my thoughts exactly, its a daily driver but i plan on getting it track ready for summer maybe ill just save up for them then :X

I was actually thinking I have a couple of friends that drift and they are running Wicked Tuning with no issues. I would think that if they hold up for drifting then they should hold up for just about anything else.

can any one give me a Estimate of how long it takes to do the rear toe replacement? i just got my wicked tuning ones in the mail today and i wanna install them but i dont wanna get into it and have to stop cuz i get off work so late..

Probably about an hour. It's only 4 bolts. Hit them with some PB Blaster it some heat before you remove the bolts though.

hmm seems easy enough.. lol whats all this nonesense i been reading about having to cut part of the sheet metal to get to a hidden nut?
  • The hidden nut in question is held by some unibody sheetmetal straps/tracks. If the bolt rusts at all into the nut, when you try to unscrew it it may jam. If it does, and you keep turning, the straps/tracks bend enough that the nut will just spin with the bolt. Then you gotta cut open the chassis to grab hold of the nut to unscrew it, and probably repair the tracks.
