    no oil leaks,
    no major problems,
    flawless interior,
    and 30-32 mpg.

    that's amazing.

    we have a new leader.
  • mine "only" has 268k miles or so. but it's been autocrossed hard a couple seasons, killed two deer, been hit in the rear by an F150, been hit in the front by an E350, traveled from south Florida to NY state to the west coast and Pacific Northwest, towed trailers taller and wider than itself, and except for a year or two where i drove my XJ6 everyday it hasn't had any time off the road. stock internals, oil pan and cylinder head have never been off. revs past 7k almost daily, and usually spends at least 30 minutes doing better than 90 mph daily as well.

my XJ6 only has 210k miles. but it's going away - its replacement is 39 years old (another Jaguar), but hasn't hit 18k yet. it may take me a while to get that one broken in, i think.

I don't know how much mine counts as well.
149,000 and just replaced every bearing, seal, and gasket.
Runs so smooth now, can't even hear it running till you rev it past 3 grand.

wish i had the time to rip mine down to nothing and re-undercoat the car, repaint it medori green, and clean/polish/repaint every part that i put back on but that will never happen.

Sorry to bring up an old thread...and sorry to thread-jack...but yaknow how old Mercedes-Benz's will sometimes have mileage badges on their grills for the 1/4million, 1/2million mile clubs n such?

Has Honda ever put out a badge like that? Anyone know? Anyone?

And...to keep it legit...Spot is at 265,xxx miles. I bought him at 217,xxx but didn't hesitate. Has never left me stranded in 7 years and I see no reason not to hit 1,000,000 miles in the long run. :)

I ran a shop for nearly 10 years and have bought/sold over a dozen 4th generation Civics. I l-o-v-e how well our cars are built. Something about the 4th gen is just special. :)
