So there IS a build thread for that.....
Now I see all this progression you've been making. Congrats on the winning knob. Hope you enjoy it. Imma have to pick up one of them trays for a possible future FoxDesignsEtc product. Was that an eBayer?

Lols yup. Only not too many people log on to Civicwagon.com anymore. O well. Yes Thanks for the KNOB! love it... yeah the cup holder is from ebay- it is cheap cheap plastic!
some pix from my phone
o AND here are some more pix of the wheel... Im obsessed with it a little bit..
Wheel looks really bling bling nice! I must admit, that I didn't like this wheel, because everybody has it, but I haven't seen gold one and it fits perfect in Your wagon and looks luxury and expensive! Very nice touch My english is just to bad to make the right description with right words

Thanks man, I love gold everything.
And your English is better than half of the people that are fluent in it. :encouragement:
Should get the wheels gold dipped/plated to match and go full on MrT with it....I would!
Lols. I wish I could!
mean while I haven't forgotten about the Element.... Not that anyone is interested in the Element..... but...
Im in the middle of an SC Console swap. It was going super smoothly, but then I Forgot I needed an SC E-brake. So i just ordered that from a guy off of EOC- anyways hopefully its here by the end of the week. Until then the element interior is kind of in pieces.
New graphics- thanks to Prennro!
I saw these graphics when searching the internets for old Honda brochures. Contacted Prennro and he put in a lot of time and energy into recreating them!
the "HU" got a little out of hand on this side... We are working on it...
ooooo' also I got a crayon and made an "H" imprint off of the RT4wd center cap and mailed the crayon "H" to prennro--- and he made some brown "H"s for the center caps! awesome right?
Also in completely unrelated news- we went up to Mt Evans this weekend. It was incredible. It was also freezing.
the largest/longest ski fence I've ever seen- somewhere in Evergreen?
O the rear is now riding on 1986 Honda Civic SI springs. It rides basically the at about the same height as the stock springs with one coil cut off (I had stock springs with one coil cut off previously.)
took the wag for a lil photoshoot around the hood. I haven't had time to edit the pix, so these are just raw from camera... o well...
Do those side markers just mount in circular holes or does it have a flat at the bottom that it clips onto?
They mound in a flat bottom. The hole is shaped like a "D" if it were sideways. if that makes sense. If you look at the first pic closely you can see the shape of the hole?
Cool cool, yeah that's what I figured, I saw that and was just wondering. Looking good. Though that back door alignment on the passenger side. What the fuck?
I switched jobs/careers recently. I'm now am a commercial producer at the FOX station in Denver. Anyways, they have been keeping me extremely busy lately, plus there is a bunch of new equipment I've never used before- that I need to familiarize myself with. For instance the Canon 5D. I got caught up with my current projects and managed to squeeze in some alone time with the Canon... And I just happened to drive the wagon today...
Anyways, just getting better acquainted with a new camera.

Always love your work! Even better is when I follow your facebook stuff I sure think you should be driving something way nicer but you stay with us. Good stuff dude!

Lols yeah, everyone could be driving something nicer- but no car payment life is pretty nice. Plus its so ugly its awesome. Sometimes I fantasize about getting and E30, but then I sober up. lols. This wagon is odd. Everything about it is odd. I love odd things. I have been researching car lifts though, mainly for the sole purpose of getting another car (like and E30 or S2000) and not getting rid of this one. Surprisingly car lifts are semi-affortable... You have one? yes?
Haven't updated you guys on the Element in a while, but I finished the SC console swap. What was supposed to take me a few hours ended up being like a month or two... Lols. Ebrake showed up----BUUUUUT, did you know the little mechanism that turns the Ebrake light off via the gauge cluster is different and mounts differently to the Ebrake itself--- than the stock one that was on my 2006 Ebrake.
So I had to order SC ebrake mechanism thingy mabob...
While I was at it, I just decided to order Piano Black upper dash console to match the SC console, because shipping was so expensive for the "thingy mabob", which Bernardiparts needs to get their shit together- because shipping for a "thingy mabob" should be 45 cents... Anyways since shipping was so expensive I padded the order with the Piano Black Upper dash to make shipping worth it.... in my mind.
So I got the Piano Black upper dash situation. BUUUUUUT, did you know the vents on the SC console are different than the vents on my 2006 element? SOOOOO I had ordered (via ebay) a used 2009+ console (which is the same as the SC console via just the vents- its not piano black- but the vents are the same.) Ordering this used 2009 console--- it also came with Black heater controls- which was a nice little bonus...
ALSO in addition to all the other shit.... The sc console didn't come with the AUX and CIG lighter- which was actually the easiest to find- The user PLATMURP from EOC had some and lives in Denver! But he didnt have the plug for the back of the AUX.... SOOOOO I went to the junk yard and I found that the plug from a newer civic's airbag is the same as the AUX for the element (Green in color- 5 pins- same colored wiring)... ANYWAYS.. thats in. And the AUX currently isn't working- but I'll get to that later.
So all said and done. This is what it looks like to fall down a rabbits hole.
O I guess I don't have any good pix of the SC console fully installed? lol
Yeah I got a lift in my garage. I paid roughly around 2000 for my 2 post 4 ton hydraulic lift new. If you are wanting to just use it to store and maybe do some routine maintenance maybe a 4 post lift would be better. Just drive on and lift it up.
Did the USA get the IX version of the e30? The 4wd version? Buddy of mine here had the 4wd E30 wagon and he beat the living hell out of it for years and rust was the only thing that did that pile in. Ugly but tough.
So this weekend I got a text from Luispin and he alerted me of an 85 wagon at the salvage yards.
I headed over as fast as I could.
I got the headlights! I've been trying to get my hands on a set of these bad bitties... I tried using 1985 hatchback recessed headlights, but they were different than the wagons. Naturally, why does the wagon have to be so difficult??? Nothing is ever inter-changeable.
Anyways- having tried to mount the Hatchback headlights in my wagon- i realized some similarities and some differences. Like; there are 2 screws that mount up perfectly and 2 that don't. All are kind of crucial to getting the headlights mounted correctly. Basically you need to drill out these mounting brackets that are tack welded on to the front of the wagon.
Wagon at yard.
I obviously didn't have a drill at the Salvage yard, so I used a chisel (I don't know why I had a chisel) and a hammer, but some of the metal from junk yard wagon came with them. When I got them home- I drilled out the tack weld spots and used a dremel to shed the excess metal I borrowed from the salvage yard wagon.
Then sprayed them with rustolium. White was the only color I had in stock
Drilled holes. used screws to mount
Ya know, you would think; "yes! We are all but done!" Nope- the headlight plug changed from 84/85-86/87.... Cut and wire.
one done.
I did finish the headlight swap completely... I will take better pics sooon!
Also I took the 85 wagon cluster- cause I liked the way it looked. I thought I could swap out the faces with my wagons.,... also slightly different...

Isn't that a shameful fact!

Are you on a track for the first shots? Or just steady cam?
Excellent shots btw.

Slap some M3 kit on there and be a rocketbill.
I would drive that! In a heart beat, but the wagons are not sold in the states? right?
plus I really would like to own an s2000 or nsx some day- cant own all the cars! I mean I want to own all the cars, but i have no place to put them.
Oh you want an S2000, and no one ever told me I couldn't have all the cars I wanted. :numbness:
