door trim removal

whats the best way to take off the door molding without breaking it i am getting my car ready to paint but am unsure about what to do to get these off thanks :?: Jeremy

    somebody said there was a tool for that. i've never seen it myself. i took mine off only to replace them with new ones.
    even then, it wasn't easy to keep the old ones from breaking the little tabs on them when they came off.

    the very first two snap on with 1 round tab, the long ones on the driver/passenger and the two on the rear passenger doors have multiple clips, the very last one is also a 1 round tab deal.
