  • i think youd have to have a wagovan panels to do this. or take the side panels and see from there.
  • Yes, those bars. Are you sure I need wagovan panels? Anyone know the measurement from bottom of window to bar? Maybe I can mock this up and make it work on my RT4WD panels.

From what I've seen the wagovans have a bracket on the inside behind the panel to screw the bars in place. Also a cut out in the panels themselves.
  • probably your best bet is to eyeball fit it. without the panels. and fabricate your own brackets (if it dont have one)

Those bars came on the Wagovans; not on the DX or 4WD's
  • I guess a tiny bit of fab will have to be done to accomplish this sweet mod. I will post pics when I figure some stuff out.
  • What are those bars called that hold up the rear Door in the pic?
Can the come off some other car? like a DA?
And how do you put them on?
  • I wish I had something to measure but if you put guy two fists on top of eachother my hands fit.

    Hope it helps

Tryin to upload other pics but its not workin

Cargo ties. The Civic Pro also had cargo ties attached to the back seat.

I hate to bump an old thread, but did anyone ever figure out a way to mock up some mounts for installing these in a rt?

I'll reply only for the fact that the answer hasn't been covered yet...

The RT4wd models don't have the holes/squares punched in the body for them to be
mounted. Furthermore, the plastics would need to be drilled out (I'd just get wagovan
    ones precut)...

I tried on my 91 and now have a hole on both sides and no cargo bars. There's no holes
on the body of either of my 89 RT's either...

If you really took your time you could mount them, but I just gave up. Too much work for
    something I'd probably rarely use...
