    Awesome. Moar boosted ludes!

Just be careful as you'll need to have the car tuned again since you'll probably be changing the charge piping. Even changing the length or route of intercooler piping can affect alot as far as the tune goes.

Also, resist the urge to turn the boost up. Those turbos have a ceramic wheel that disintegrates at high boost. I'm sure it'll be plenty enough power for now though.
Thanks for the heads up man.

Picked up some stock seats off a buddy so I can drive the car.

Dug up everything to convert back to stock seatbelts and seats. Seems pretty lame but now I can drive the car and the money from my coolio interior setup I sold bought me boost.

  • Having the internal wastegate flapper welded shut on the turbo, getting the exhaust components ceramic coated, and wrapping the intake components with heat reflective tape. Going for efficiency here.
  • Time to start wrapping!

  • So I have plans to turn this radio delete into a switch board. Going to have four toggle switches with amber indicator lights and a battery disconnect mounted in it with an aluminum backing plate and some extra support to mount it.

Here are the parts I was planning on using or at least similar to what I want to use.

Also ECU is on its way, belt was on backorder (ugh), and egr delete is on its way. And I'm going to paint this bad boy flat black so it doesn't stick out so much.
  • p28 equivalent showed up! Has a stock h22a4 basemap on it so I can throw it in and convert to obd1 sooner rather than later.

    1066.jpg
  • And wrapped my intake, elbow proved difficult to make look nice but this is a function thing so whatevs.

  • Update: EGR delete showed up! Yay!!!!

  • My belt and hood risers came in today. Hood risers are 3/4" for a hood tilt, want to see how it looks and maybe make room for a line.

  • ECU is in, runs much better without the codes being thrown from the 5spd swap.

    Temporary ecu mounting.

    219.jpg

Took out the muffler heat shield because racecar.

    220.jpg

Working on taking out the evap system.
  • Cleaned up nicely!

    228.jpg

    229.jpg

And picked up an optima redtop for the trunk.

    230.jpg
  • I have been lazy today so egr didn't get done, maybe I'll do it at midnight when I'm bored or something lol.

Went to mock up where the breather tank is going and it fit perfectly on these two holes!

    249.jpg

Looks better than the stock stuff!

    250.jpg

Sadly there isn't enough room for the filter.

    251.jpg

I think I am going to use some spacers to move it out enough to clear that part of the firewall so I don't have to drill.
  • Deleted EGR. Now I need to get some line to extend the evap hardline and get some vacuum caps for the now unused intake manifold ports.

Maybe eventually, trying to finish this car off so I can save for another car. Not selling this one just adding to the collection.

  • Plugged the unused vacuum ports on the intake manifold.

    392.jpg

And pieced together a kind of a bracket from old static test setup stuff at work. haha Also picked up some new fittings. Not pretty blue and red but they were $13 together so fuck blue and red. lol

  • And it's in. still need to measure and have new lines made though.

    414.jpg

Also extended the evap line to under the car for now. Need to secure it though.
  • My big package showed up! Mizu radiator, hoses, fan shroud, and slim fans. There are a few bent fins, can I just bend those back with pliers? Regardless I got a great deal on this stuff and absolutely love it! Great quality!
