Whats everyone doing for a header?

i bought a standard universal d series header to replace my cracked in half one and it doesnt clear the tranny.. anyone running a header that fits the 4wd tranny? thaaaanks

    I had a DC header on my GSR/CRV wagon and it had to me modified to clear the transfer case so thats what yer gunna have to do.

    Yup, I made a custom secondary pipe for my Kamikaze to clear the transfer case.

    got a D16Y8 stock one on mine (00 civic EX) just extended o2 sensor wire, 4-2-1 for 30$
    but mine is FWD 1990, not sure if itll work for you

    Check out my thread and you can see what I had to do to make the header clear the RT.

    If you have a 4-2-1 header the bottom part where the 2 go into 1, it is too long, and they are angled wrong. When I bolted mine up it wasn't even close. So I had to cut the 2-1 piece into a few different sections, and just started working it until it all fit just right. Mine has been changed to a 2.5 right at the 2-1 joint so it has very little clearance. If you stay with the stock size pipe you will have more room for fitment.
